Bizfield's CEO, Lillian Liu, Invited to Beijing’s Smooth Financing Program – Overseas Financing Boutique Salon

On the afternoon of August 16, 2024, Lillian Liu, CEO of Canada-based Bizfield Accelerator, was invited to attend the "Beijing Smooth Financing Program – Overseas Financing Boutique Salon," an event hosted by the Beijing Municipal Financial Office and organized by Zhongguancun Medical Treatment Qixieyuan and Beijing Yongjie Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd. The event took place at the Zhongguancun Medical Treatment Qixieyuan in Beijing, attracting over 60 enterprise and institutional leaders despite heavy rain. The theme of the event was Cross-Border Finance and Development for Chinese Enterprises.



The event began with a tour of the Zhongguancun Medical Treatment Qixieyuan exhibition hall. Established on October 30, 2012, the park is a collaborative project between Zhongguancun Development Group, China Communications Construction Company, and Beijing Daxing Biology Medical Company Base. Phase 1 of the project covers an area of 131 acres, with a total building area of 185,000 square meters. To date, it has attracted over 170 high-end medical device projects, including 11 publicly listed companies or their subsidiaries, such as Beijing Hotgen Biotech Co., Allgens Medical Tech, Jiuzhitang Maker (Beijing) Cell Technology Co., Ltd., Bloomage BioTechnology Corporation Limited, Walvax Biotechnology Co., Wuhan Humanwell Hi-tech Ind. Co., Ltd., Beijing Baron Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., Beijing Succeeder Tech, Biocytogen Pharm-B, Salubris Pharmaceuticals, BEIJING UPROVEN MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD., RESMED (BEIJING) MEDICAL DEVICE CO., LTD. The park excels in cardiovascular implants, in vitro diagnostic devices, AI surgical equipment, and innovative drugs, distinguishing itself as an industry leader both domestically and internationally.

Cross-Border Financing Services Introduced by Banks

Representatives from the international business departments of Beijing branches of China Construction Bank, Hangzhou Bank, Agricultural Bank of China, and Jincheng Bank presented cross-border financing solutions, including cross-border supply chain financing, direct loans, and overseas guarantees.



Interactive Session During the interactive session, Lillian Liu answered questions from participating companies about listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the business environment in Canada. She also introduced the Start-Up Visa program, a highly suitable financing option for small-scale startups seeking to expand internationally.

Additionally, corporate representatives raised inquiries with bank officials regarding financing for overseas mining investments.



Nie Xiaohui, a representative of the Beijing Municipal Financial Office, delivered a summary speech highlighting the achievements and ongoing efforts of the "Smooth Financing Program".



To date, the program has organized 350 financing matchmaking events, serving over 6,000 financial institutions, connecting with more than 16,000 companies, and involving over 48,000 participants.



Looking ahead, professional organizations such as the Canada Cross-Border Capital and Innovation Alliance and Bizfield Accelerator plan to actively collaborate with Beijing Yongjie Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd., Chinese banks, and Zhongguancun Medical Treatment Qixieyuan under the framework of the "Smooth Financing Program" These efforts aim to support Chinese tech enterprises in entering the Canadian market, securing international capital, exploring global markets, and rapidly growing into globally competitive enterprises.
